I'm Abbey, and I'm so excited you're here! I'm 24 years old, and live in the Upstate of South Carolina. I am one of seven kids, have the best parents and an amazing husband! When I'm not working you'll most likely find me spending time with my family, or cooking something yummy in the kitchen!
my experience
Since I was a little girl, I have always loved taking pictures! I used to line up my stuffed animals and dolls and take their pictures! When I was in high school my parents bought me a Canon T5I for Christmas and that's when I started learning how to shoot on my own.
Once I got into college I took a photography class and was hooked. I joined the photo staff team and had the best teacher ever! (Shout out to Dr. Carey!) While in school I had the amazing opportunity to shoot the 2019 & 2021 Southern Baptist Convention in Birmingham, Alabama, and Nashville, Tennessee, attended the Southeastern Photojournalism Conference in Nashville, Tennessee in the spring of 2020 placing first in the contest, and won the Photography Award as a senior at my University.
In May of 2020, I graduated with a BA in Communications, majoring in Photography and minoring in Graphic Design. Since I graduated, I've been pursuing my own photography business, and have also been contracted out for graphic design projects as well. Most recently, I have travelled to Greece where I visited eight different islands, and the mainland. It was the most adventurous trip I've been on so far and I can't wait to go on more Lord willing!
